Join us for our 3rd Annual Designer Purse Bingo hosted by the Sarah Reed Children's Center Auxiliary!

Cost is $35, which includes 10 games of bingo and entry for door prizes. Advanced tickets preferred, but tickets will be sold at the door. (Cash or card)

Doors open at 12:00pm; Bingo starts at 1pm.

Cash is recommended for additional chances to win including:
-Tip boards for more purses and a few cash prizes
-Wine raffle
-Purse raffles
-Extra bingo cards
-Daubers

There will NOT be an ATM on-site, so please plan accordingly.

Mulecreek Grille will be on-site selling delicious food, starting at 12:00pm, so come early and come hungry! (Cards accepted)

Please feel free to bring your own refreshments (must be 21 or older to bring and consume alcohol).

If you'd like to reserve a table (8 people), please email alongstreth@sarahreed.org. Payment is required to hold your reservation.

You are welcome to bring your child(ren) along, but please be aware that no one under the age of 18 is permitted to claim prizes by Pennsylvania State Law.

As part of "Sacred Pathways" at the Cathedral, Art Exhibits will be on display each month developed around our theme – September we explore Inner Landscapes. Our featured artist is Ruth Swaney. September’s Art Exhibit is open to the public starting September 2, weekdays 10:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M., in addition to times during the "Sacred Pathways" Events on Tuesday Evenings. A reception to meet the artist will be held on Sunday, September 21 at 7:00 P.M. and will include live music and light refreshments.

"Evening Echoes" at 8:00 P.M. (Compline) is a 25-minute candlelit service with chanted prayers, choral music, and reflective silence. During this time, we invite to sit or explore more deeply the artwork in the Cathedral. Combine the visual landscapes with the sacred music as you gently close your day.

Roll out the carpet! Stay, play and visit. Even though there is no story time today, we can always meet up at the library with friends. There will be puppets, blocks, a craft table and plenty of books to read.

Stop into the Idea Lab any time between 6:00 pm and 7:30pm to see what the Idea Lab is up to! For this craft, we will use a the Cricut heat press to transfer the design from a fun patterned napkin onto a cloth pencil case. We will have a variety designs available to choose from.

Free. No registration required - just drop in. All children must be supervised by a guardian.

Note: This project involves the Cricut Heat Press, which can get very hot. Children under 15 will need a guardian to do this part of the project for them. There will still be plenty of other parts of the project they can do on their own!

Put a unique spin on your sneakers! Join us for a creative 3D printing workshop where you'll design and print custom shoelace charms. Learn the basics of 3D design using beginner-friendly software, Tinkercad. Submit your print to the Idea Lab and they will notify you when it is ready to pick up!

Join local maker Karen S. to learn how to make a basic zipper pouch with a sewing machine. You will learn how to cut a pattern, assemble the fabric, and sew everything together with the machine. This is a beginner level sewing class.

Free. Ages 13 to Adult. Registration required. Class will take place in the Blasco Library's Community Classroom. If you think you will need additional help with this project, please bring a support person to this class.

Whether you're into poetry, short stories, or journaling, this free workshop is the perfect place to explore your creativity in a fun, supportive environment. Led by an experienced writing instructor, this hands-on session will include fun prompts, storytelling games, and tips to strengthen your writing skills. This session we will focus on character creation.

Radiant Faith Worship at 7:00 P.M.: A queer-centered gathering of worship, wonder, and welcome. Our gatherings are for spiritual seekers and offer a Christian-rooted encounter with the Divine—one who dwells within us and in the sacred connection we share with one another.
