Get Ready for the Ultimate Tropical Escape at The Garage Gala!

Step into the most exciting, laid-back fundraising event of the year—The Garage Gala, hosted by EmergyCare! This isn’t your typical black-tie affair. We’re turning the heat up and trading tuxedos for Hawaiian shirts as we celebrate in the unique atmosphere of EmergyCare’s very own ambulance garage.

This year’s theme is A Tropical Escape—so bring your island vibes and get ready to have a blast! Enjoy delicious bites from local food trucks, sip on refreshing drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and groove to live entertainment all night long. Plus, you can try your luck at raffles and games of chance.

But that’s not all! Every dollar raised will support EmergyCare’s mission is to save lives and positively impact the health, well-being, and safety of the communities we serve across eight counties in Northwest Pennsylvania. You won’t just be having fun—you’ll be making a real difference!

Enjoy the selection of large print books and even find puzzles, DVDs, and audiobooks, plus a selection of children's books. While visiting, be sure to stop by the Bayfront Bookshelf-- the Friends' year-round book shop located in the lobby of Blasco Library.

The French Creek Council of Scouting America’s delightful S’mores and More Soirée will be a fun-filled evening of community spirit. This year’s event falls on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Martens Barn in Waterford, PA.

The VIP reception begins at 5pm with custom drinks and exclusive activities. The main celebration is from 6pm-9pm with heavy hors d’oeuvres from Make it Fabulous Catering, entertainment by ReignMaker, and a charming semi-formal, garden party atmosphere.

This event is a major fundraiser to continue supporting and expanding local Scouting programs in Erie, Crawford, Mercer, Venango, Clarion, and Forest Counties.

Come enjoy great food, s’mores, entertainment, and networking with fellow Scouting friends in your best semi-formal, garden party attire as you help support a worthy cause that benefits youth and the community.
