Beginner's Chess for Ages 8-12 in the Blasco Story Time Room!

Come and learn the basics of playing chess! Bring your own board or play on one of ours.

Explore stories at the library! Join us for an interactive storytime featuring books, music, movement, puppetry, and more. Have fun while helping your child build early reading skills. Activities are planned with a preschooler's development in mind, but younger and older siblings are always welcome.

Preschool Storytime is best for ages 3-5. A parent or other adult caregiver must be present for the duration of the program. No fee or registration required - join us whenever your family's schedule allows!

Wednesday and Thursday sessions will be different. You are welcome to join us for either or both.

Variety of free, engaging PIRATE themed activities and crafts for kids ages toddler and up from 10 am - 4 pm. Our cafe will have kid friendly snacks and drinks available for purchase.

Get your build on! Join some friends and build with Lego, Duplo, wooden train sets and more, once a month in the Blasco Storytime room.

Blocks provided, just bring your imagination.

Meet other Pokémon trainers at the Erie County Public Library's Pokémon Club! Come play games, trade cards, and make friends. If you don't know how to play, we will teach you! Trading Card Game, Nintendo Switch/DS, and Pokémon GO players are all welcome.

This program is intended for trainers ages 6 and up.

Families welcome, recommended ages 0-5yrs

No registration required. Children must be accompanied by an adult for this program.

Roll out the carpet! Stay, play and visit. Even though there is no story time today, we can always meet up at the library with friends. There will be puppets, blocks, a craft table and plenty of books to read.
