Dinner and a show!Written by local playwright, Lisa Rawson, "Lost, Then Found In The Middle Of Gnowarre" is set in a remote, small town in Ohio – Go Gnomes! – with an even smaller airport. The locals pronounce it "Know-A-Ray" but to outsiders, Gnowarre more closely resembles a place with a different pronunciation – Nowhere. A detour and broken-down rental car redirected Steve to the rural airport, where he hoped to resume his travels. In Gnowarre, the G may be silent, but Steve’s comical, sarcastic inner voice is not. The audience will hear all his reactions as he deals with the crazy quirks of the tiny airport, where the rental car fleet and flight schedule each offer an option of one, an aisle is also a window, and baggage handling involves a bathroom scale and a red wagon. As the Seattleite learns about Gnowarre’s relaxed life; first traffic light; annual cow-pie bingo; and caring, gnome-loving residents — he also learns they offer the change he didn’t know he needed. For Steve, it took getting lost to be truly found.

This is a competitive, but fun 5K run/walk at Penn State Behrend that ends in the sweetest way -- with Penn State's famous Berkey Ice Cream for all participants. Run/walk or do a combination of both, while this is a timed race, it has a deliberate fun-loving vibe with a photo booth, a DJ, and lots of cheerleaders. Bring the kids -- they can do the 3.1 mile walk/run for just $10 (no shirt) or $15 if you want a shirt. While the race celebrates women, it's open to all ages, genders, and abilities. Age group awards for women. Overall (top three) awards for men. Did we mention the ice cream?!
