This is a free, family-friendly event great for people of all ages.

Meet our non-releasable ambassador wildlife, including hawk, owls, falcons, and presented “on the glove” by handlers, and opossum, turtle, and snake for the public to view up close and personal.

Participants must use roadside parking, which may require a several-minute walk to the event. Limited handicapped parking will be available. Please be aware that our facility includes uneven terrain, stairs, and other areas that may be difficult to navigate with a stroller or wheelchair.

Some of history's most beautiful plants are also among its most dangerous. Explore the fascinating world of poisonous plants. Poison or Medicine? Can you tell the difference? Decide whether each is a poison, a medicine, or both. Assemble your own collection of "dangerous flora" by making a botanical specimen journal and brew you own mini potion bottle. For teens ages 13-18. No registration required. Available while supplies last.

Come to the YMCA for a day that will be fun and educational, featuring senior fitness assessments, senior classes, vendor tables, gait and cognitive assessments, and the Erie Vets Center Mobile Unit.

All who participate in the Senior Fitness Assessments will get a ticket to win a door prize!

It's time again for our annual Health & Wellness Fair! Vendors from across the area will be on hand to provide you with health screenings and information on a variety of topics - healthy living, personal care, nutrition, aging, and much more! Each attendee will receive a door prize ticket. Basket raffle tickets will be available for purchase for $5.

LOOKS is a documentary project about appearance and aesthetics whose factual foundation is oral health: the mouth, the smile and the way a face is built. It exists because most of what people are told about their own looks is trying to sell them something, while the knowledge that would actually explain a face rarely leaves a clinic.

The opening meeting presents the project, the people behind it and the material it publishes. The campaign includes a feature documentary and an online series, alongside a free educational section written for general readers rather than for specialists.
