In a recent interview with NPR, A Martínez and Erie Mayor Joe Schember discussed how the city of Erie would welcome new migrants while other cities are burdened by them. Mayor Schember explains that there are several non-profits in Erie to help migrants feel at home, many jobs and opportunities available, and resources to help new residents find jobs and get settled.
