Become a WQLN Education Ambassador

WQLN PBS is looking for pre-K to fifth-grade classroom teachers to join their new WQLN PBS KIDS Education Ambassador team. Education Ambassadors bridge the gap between WQLN PBS KIDS and the classroom, by sharing WQLN PBS KIDS programs and valuable resources, Education Ambassadors have fun earning perks and lots of SWAG.

WQLN PBS KIDS Education Ambassadors consists of a select group of active professional educators in pre-K to fifth-grade classrooms throughout our region who believe in our vision and mission for our community. They are volunteers who act as powerful assets promoting WQLN PBS KIDS programming and resources in their school buildings.

The new way forward for the Education Department at WQLN PBS NPR is predicated on a thoughtful understanding of what we want Erie to look like after completing our mission: communities of thriving children who are inspired to learn. We seek to impact educational attainment, and by extension, the Lake Erie region’s vitality, by equitably engaging underrepresented students with remarkable interactive learning experiences based on high-quality standards-aligned programming. We will always act through the lens of our values to ensure that we always give our communities of children what they deserve: our absolute best.

Become an Education Ambassador by contacting Jennifer at (814) 217-6015.
