Mahjong is a tile-based game developed in the 19th century in China and is now played world-wide. Join expert player, Ada Strasser, to learn the basics, and continue to hone your skills in subsequent sessions. You may find a game you’ll enjoy for years to come! Join a book club that features good conversation, variety of reading options, and a chance to make friends!

Interested adults are encouraged to come to a relaxed, monthly gathering to talk about a book that all participants have read. Future books will be determined by the group and selected from one of the library's "Book Club in a Bag" list of titles. Please contact the Edinboro Branch Library to reserve your copy. Join local maker Brandon Borgia for lesson in acrylic pouring. Apply color in puddles, pools and marble-like patterns. Leave your creation here at the Idea Lab and return to pick it up once it's dry. Free. Ages 14 to adult. Registration required.

Join local fiber artist and tie dyer Linda Weber to add some color to your summer! Learn some simple tie dye techniques and create your own colorful shirt design that's yours to keep.

Registration is required for this class, and registrations will close two weeks before the class date (June 25th). Please register every person who plans to participate in this class and mark down your preferred shirt size (children's X-small through X-large, adults small through XXX-large).

Note: Tie dye can stain, so make sure you wear clothes you can get dye on, and be prepared to get a little messy!

This program is free to attend. Ages 8 to adult. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All supplies for this class will be provided. If you think you will need extra help with this project, please bring a support person with you to this class.
