The state of Michigan is known for its natural beauty, Great lakes, and outdoor destinations. Join WQLN on a Road Trip to this beautiful state, June 7 – 11, 2027, for a wonderful four-night getaway. We will leave WQLN for Frankenmuth, MI, and enjoy shopping in downtown Frankenmuth (including Bronner's Christmas Wonderland) that afternoon after an authentic German lunch at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. Dinner will be at the delicious Zehnder’s for a fabulous family-style chicken dinner with all the fixins! The cozy Bavarian Inn on the banks of the Cass River will host us for one night. In the morning, we will try our hands at rolling pretzels like German bakers and enjoy our tasty treats on the bus as we head to Mackinaw City where we will board the ferry to Mackinac Island. While on the island, we will spend three fantastic nights at the award-winning Mission Point Resort on the shores of Lake Huron. Highlights include a carriage tour of Mackinac Island, and lunch at the famed Grand Hotel. While at the Grand Hotel, you can spend as much time as you want exploring the hotel and its grounds. On this trip, you will also have plenty of time on your own to explore the island, too. On our last day, we will dine at Ford’s Garage in Dearborn before waving goodbye to Michigan and driving home to our own city on a Great Lake!

Trip includes:

• Deluxe motorcoach transportation with Anderson Coach and Travel
• All hotel arrangements at Mission Point Resort including baggage handling – all rooms are two double beds

• Transportation on Shepler’s Ferry to and From Mackinac Island
• Some carriage rides on the island

The trip does not include:

• Lunch on day two in Mackinaw City before boarding the ferry
• Lunch and dinner on day three while exploring the island on your own
• Dinner on day four while exploring the island on your own
• Bicycle rental and additional carriage rides on the island ($10 average per ride)
• Baggage handling tips and carriage ride tips are at your discretion
• Anderson bus driver tip at your discretion
