Dafmark’s youth art show provides the Erie
community an opportunity to support after-school and summer arts education programs
at the Dafmark Creative Arts Center (DCAC) for youth who live in public housing @ the
John E. Horan Garden Apartments. Come to City Gallery, 1503 State Street, Erie, PA on
Wednesday, November 11th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
This has become a highlight event for Dafmark’s youth. Last year over 600 pieces of
work were on display by over 60 artists. The event is FREE so come meet some of our
emerging artists. Their art work will be on display and available for purchase. 50% of
proceeds from each sale go to the youth artist and 50% will go to supporting continuing
arts education programming at DCAC. ARTISPHERE is a great opportunity to get your
holiday shopping done while supporting local budding artists and entrepreneurs.
Additionally, we will have live music by Brittany Morton & Friends, light hors d’oeuvres by
Room 33, and the youth from the Dafmark Creative Arts Center’s cooking classes.
