In our news wrap Sunday, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Portugal formally recognized a Palestinian state, Trump plans to nominate a senior White House aide as the new U.S. attorney in Virginia, the federal government’s annual report on hunger in America is being canceled, and California became the first state to ban law enforcement officers from wearing face coverings while on duty.
