Throughout art history, artist circles have been fundamental to the evolution of the craft. A new exhibition in New England reveals how an artist triangle, three painters who would go down as 20th-century greats, shaped the course of their own careers while on summer retreats. Correspondent Jared Bowen of GBH Boston takes us to Cape Ann for our arts and culture series, CANVAS.
