Why Does Campus Sexual Assault Persist? Columbia & Princeton Professors Explain

Season 2027 Episode 9011 | 17m 27s

A former Cornell student is suing seven fraternity members, alleging that they sexually assaulted her in 2024. Prosecutors reopened the case after massive public outcry in support of the plaintiff, known as Jane Doe. As her suit reignites a conversation about rape culture on campuses, Profs. Jennifer Hirsch and Shamus Khan, authors of “Sexual Citizens,” say it isn't enough simply to teach consent.
