“The Future Belongs to Democracy” Says Freed Russian Opposition Leader

Season 2024 Episode 7091 | 18m 21s

In April 2022, Russian opposition leader Vladimir Kara-Murza was one of many dissidents in Russia arrested for speaking out. After more than two years' imprisonment, he was released this summer in the same prisoner swap that freed American journalist Evan Gershkovich. Kara-Murza sat down with Walter to discuss his personal story and the importance of democracy.
