WQLN NPR first signed on the air in 1973. On December 19th of that year, an unusual exchange of pulpits occurred when Erie Reverend Daniel Huntwork of Wayne Park Baptist Church switched jobs with Reverent David Mansfield of West Bridgeford Baptist Church in Nottingham, England. The international exchange lasted six months.
