WQLN NPR first signed on the air in 1973. On November 15th of that year, Gannon College’s School of Business opened a multi-day seminar on the benefits of a four-day 40 hour work week. Riva Poor, a nationally recognized authority on labor and management, was the conference’s principal presenter.
This Day in History is presented by the Emmy-nominated history series Chronicles, airing Secrets of the Abyss, followed by Mother-In-Law of the US Navy tomorrow night on WQLN PBS and on our TV app - Passport.
