WQLN NPR first signed on the air in 1973. On October 18th of that year, six detectives were honored for their part in the investigation of the murder of District Magistrate James Hogan. The detectives were Dom DiPaolo, David Bagnini, Robert Belczyk, John Paluk, Tobbie Rigazzi, and Walter Gajewski.
