Al Lubiejewski
Host of Bop N' The Blues & Jazz, Ballads and BluesAl Lubiejewski moved back to Erie in 1972 after attending law school in Washington DC and working for several years at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Shortly after moving back to Erie, he became an assistant District Attorney for Erie County and served as such for several years before becoming a full-time private law-practitioner.
Al began hosting "Jazz Ballads & Blues" in June of 2006 after the original host of 32 years, and good friend, Joe DiGiorgio, died. Al’s first true love (other than his wife, Josie) is jazz, but he’s had an exciting affair with the blues ever since hearing Elvis sing "Hound Dog." He Describes the blues as party music for the walking wounded.
