WQLN PBS is thrilled to announce the 2023 Education Ambassador of the Year.
Congratulations to Cristin Sayers of Robison Elementary for her unwavering commitment to promoting WQLN PBS KIDS educational programs, and resources, and for her efforts to empower and inspire students and educators alike. Cristin spent the school year volunteering her time to be a positive spokesperson and influencer for WQLN PBS KIDS. We thank her for going above and beyond in advocating for the power of education!
To thank her for her hard work, her classes were awarded a field trip to the WQLN station, where they got a hands-on interactive learning experience about TV and radio production.
Congratulations Cristin on this important achievement!
About the Education Ambassador Program
WQLN PBS KIDS Education Ambassador program consists of a select group of active professional educators in pre-K to fifth-grade classrooms throughout our region who believe in our vision and mission for our community. They are volunteers who act as powerful assets promoting WQLN PBS KIDS programming and resources in their school buildings.
Throughout the school year, Education Ambassadors network with teachers, parents, and students. Ambassadors receive SWAG like a water bottle, tote bag, lunch bag, little classroom library, Barnes & Noble gift card, or a PBS KIDS Playtime Pad for the classroom.
