HistERIE: Discovering Harborcreek Township by Bus with Harborcreek Historical Society

Come ride with us! This guided driving tour explores Harborcreek Township, an agricultural community dating to 1803. Its 7-mile shoreline is part of a longer “fruit belt” stretching from New York to Ohio that is the oldest and largest concord grape growing region in the world. The tour also includes Historic Route 20 - the longest highway in the U.S., the Great Lakes Seaway Trail - a National Scenic Byway, and historic places like one-room schoolhouses, churches, homes, cemeteries, and more.

The tour departs from the Harborcreek Historical Society's offices at the Gifford-Blanchfield House, 5661 Buffalo Road.

Register by emailing harborcreekhistory@gmail.com. Advanced registration is required.

Participants should dress appropriately for weather and physical activity. Suitable for children 6+ accompanied by their grown-up.
