Antique Gun Display
The Wilder Museum of Warren County History, 51 Erie Avenue, Irvine, PA, will mark the end of its 2024 season with a special Antique Gun Display on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Weapons collector and historian Brad Bogart will curate the event, which will run from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.
Brad’s historic assortment of arms includes weaponry dating back to the French and Indian War (1754-1763), such as Kentucky rifles, powder horns, knives and tomahawks. Brad has been collecting antique guns since 1972 after returning home from Vietnam. He has been a member of the Kentucky Rifle Association since 1984 and frequently attends their annual show and other events.
The gun display will take place in the Era-Gone-By Room which houses the Joseph DeFrees Antique Gun Collection. DeFrees, a Warren County native, was a mid-twentieth century inventor and philanthropist.
