WQLN NPR first signed on the air in 1973. On June 14th of that year, the Erie School Board passed its Four, Four, Four plan. This initiative defined Erie’s Elementary, Middle, and High Schools as having four grades each.

This Day in History is presented by Chronicles, nominated for seven Emmy awards, and available online at WQLN.org and on the PBS app Passport.
