WQLN NPR first signed on the air in 1973. On May 27th of that year, the Erie Zoo cut the ribbon on its newest attraction Safari Land. Zoo visitors riding the Sarafri Land Express could easily spot American Bisan and Australian Emus roaming free.

This Day in History is presented by Chronicles, showing Tullio Defeated tonight on WQLN PBS.
