WQLN NPR first signed on the air in 1973, and on March 10th of that year – recently released POW – Navy pilot, Lieutenant Commander Gareth Anderson from Kane, Pennsylvania, gave an interview to the Erie Daily Times, saying that coming home was wonderful beyond belief.
