Radio-50th--Microphone.jpg

2023 is a BIG year for WQLN NPR. Saturday, January 7 marks 50 Years of public radio in Erie. We couldn't be more excited to celebrate all that we've accomplished over the past 50 years. None of it would be possible without the support from our members and our corporate donors. With in-depth news coverage, classical music, jazz, blues, and informative and entertaining weekend programming, WQLN NPR has something for everyone! It's been a great ride and we have even bigger and better plans in the works the next 50 Years! Keep your ears tuned to WQLN NPR over the next few months for special ways to celebrate with us, fun ways to support WQLN NPR, opportunities to collect some very cool 50th Anniversary swag, and much more!

Join us as we celebrate all of the wonderful programs and services that we've provided to the community over the past 50 years! We will celebrate with a cocktail/hors d'oeuvre hour beginning at 6pm followed by messages/presentations from WQLN's President Tom New and our guest speakers from NPR -Scott Horsley, Chief Economics Correspondent and Jack Spear, News Anchor. The Erie Philharmonic will play as we celebrate everything WQLN NPR!
