Would you like to see your name in lights? All you have to do is read, read, and read! When you reach one of the goals listed below, you will become a Q-Kids Reader and your name will be aired on WQLN PBS! Is that cool or what?
There is just one requirement. One of your books must be PBS related
Kindergarten to Grade 2
Select at least one book related to a PBS Kids character like Elmo, Arthur, or Martha Speaks.
Grade 3 to Grade 5
Watch a PBS program and select a book related to the episode. For example, your child might be inspired to read a book about ice glaciers after watching an episode of NOVA.
Submitting Your List
Download and complete the official Q-Kids Readers book log by including your name, address, phone number, email address, your child’s name and age. Don’t forget to check the box on the right to give us permission to air your child’s name on WQLN PBS. Use this form to track your child’s time spent reading and remember to record the PBS related book on line #1.
Send your child’s completed book log to Q-Kids Readers by the 25th of the month. Your child will immediately be enrolled in Q-Kids Readers! It's simple, free, and fun! Your child's name will air for 30 days beginning the first week of the following month. Your child can participate each month!
