Grief Professionals Training Session

WQLN and the Highmark Caring Place present a free online grief professionals training session in support of the film Speaking Grief.

We often don’t talk about grief, because we don't know what to say. Instead of avoiding grief, we need to make space for it, but how do we do that?

The Speaking Grief training will include an overview of the grief process, as well as myths and facts about the grief of children and their families.

The training will also discuss what those who are grieving say they need most and offer practical suggestions about what we can say and do to support them through the grief journey.

Training will be two hours. 2.0 CE's available for those in Pennsylvania at no charge, thanks to Mercyhurst University.
