The Bands
The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band
With a reputation for incendiary live shows well established, The Big Damn Band will headline the 2013 Crawford County Music Festival. Peyton's Delta blues, with a hillbilly fervor, create a brand of Americana and Blues that is totally unique. The Big Damn Band is Josh Peyton, his wife Breezy, and distant cousin Aaron Persinger. On stage they are the living breathing embodiment of the traditions and hard work ethic native to their Brown County, Indiana home. Their new album Between the Ditches is a chronicle of this lifestyle.
The Folkadelics
The Folkadelics burst onto the live music scene in the summer of 2012 and one of their first shows was at the Crawford County Music Festival. The Folkadelics blur funk, reggae, rock, and hip-hop to create a unique sound, brought to life by their high-energy live shows. The Folkadelics are Sam Miller on guitar and vocals, Gavin Cummings on mandolin and vocals, Danielle Faraone on vocals, Drew Kelly on bass, and drummer Tom Barraco.
Nancy Deckant and Black Rock County
Deckant is a Nashville recording artist who spins country and pop into her own brand of authentic music. With her band Black Rock County, she fuses high energy country rock into one of the best feel-good audience experiences around. Black Rock County is Nancy Deckant on vocals, Tom Wright on guitar, George Salamacha on bass, and Bert Lerini on drums.
Tiger Maple String Band
Tiger Maple String Band will return this year with an all new act that's coal-fired on mountain music, found only in the heart of Appalachia.
Tom Stine
Tom is the world famous 'one man band' – he's one of a kind making a career of interpreting standards from cool California Alt Country to classic Rock and Roll.
