The WQLN Gears to Beers Bicycle Tour
The WQLN Gears to Beers Bicycle Tour is a new event for the Erie Micro Brew Festival and will occur the weekend after the festival on Saturday April 24, 2010.

The ride will begin at 10:00am in the parking lot of WQLN Public Media. WQLN is located three quarters of a mile south of Interstate 90 on Peach Street.

Day of ride registration will begin at 8:00am and close at 9:45am

Plan on having fun. We will have water, refreshments and music at the start of the ride.

The ride is a 25 mile rolling hill tour that follows Oliver Road, Old State Road, Fry Road, Angling Road, West Plum Street Erie Street, Meadville Street, Cambridge Spring Street, Plank Road, Church River Street and finally to Sprague Farm and Brew Works.

The route will be marked with orange arrows

WQLN will provide a SAG van (support and gear)

The ride is a tour and there will be no timers

All riders must wear a helmet

All riders must obey Pennsylvania's bicycle laws

WQLN will provide a box van to return bicycles back to WQLN Public Media

EMTA will provide a single bus ride back to WQLN

Competitive Gear will host a bike show at Spragues

Riders will receive three beers from Spragues and a commemorative tee shirt
