Welcome to The Erie Micro Brew Festival!
The Erie Micro Brew Festival presented by WQLN and the Brewerie at Union Station. This year's fest will once again feature 25 craft brewers and a new event called the Gears to Beers – a bicycle tour through the history of brewing in the Greater Erie area.


Two Sampling Sessions
Sampling Session 1 - Roll Out the Barrel - 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Sampling Session 2 - We'll Have a Barrel of Fun - 5:00pm to 8:00pm

    Micro Brewers are some of the finest people, who live on this small planet. They are first and foremost craftsmen and craftswomen, who make a product that we love. They struggle with a thousand variables. Some of the variables, like bacteria are microscopic and some, like the cost of hops in Belgium are global. Any one of these variables can spoil a batch of beer. They forge forward; they bet hearth and home, forgoing creature comforts to bring to market – not a product, but a dream.   • The Erie Micro Brew Fest Singing Barbers – "...shave and a haircut – two Bits!"
  • Pretzel Necklaces, or what we call lunch on a string!
  • The Guinness Beer Garden - featuring sampling of Guinness stout, Harp lager, and Smithwicks ale. The GBG will also feature beer prize baskets to bid on and 12 malty beverages and wine coolers to sample. Anyone who attended the second sampling session in 2009 can now yell YEA! Thanks to Erie Mayor Joe Sinnott and his staff, the Guinness Beer Garden will be a tented area on 14th Street. Plenty of treats for designated drivers and a last chance to wish Arthur G. a happy 250.
  • The Sheetz Gourmet Coffeez Bar – a place to try gourmet Coffeez , Latte, Mocha, Expresso, Hot Chocolate, and Steamerz.
