WQLN Education Partnerships

What is the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program? In 2001, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania established the EITC program to allow businesses to support education in Pennsylvania. Qualified businesses can make contributions to an EITC registered organization's educational improvement fund and receive either a 75% or 90% tax credit against its PA taxes that would otherwise be due.

Did you know that WQLN is an approved Educational Improvement Organization? Because of the generous support and strong partnerships of the businesses listed below, we are able to partner with our school districts by delivering WQLN Families Turn on to Literacy™ program to many K-2 students and their families. This program gives families the tools they need to encourage learning in the home.

To find out how you can become a partner, contact Kathy Carducci at (814) 217-6001 or by e-mail at kcarducci@wqln.org.
