Fighting the Battle Together
WQLN has opened its studio doors for a town hall meeting about life with cancer. Cancer affects everyone, the young and old, the rich and poor, men, women and children. Cancer patients and their families deal with many challenges that can make them feel overwhelmed and scared. This is an opportunity for anyone whose life has been affected by cancer to come together, share our experiences, and strengthen our network of support. Today we will take part in a dialogue featuring a panel of cancer experts including a medical specialist, a recently diagnosed patient, a long-term survivor, a bereavement specialist, and a family caregiver. Having been significantly impacted by cancer in different ways, the panel members will share their unique perspectives by offering both personal and professional observations on life with cancer.
Town Hall Meeting held at
7:30 EST on April 15, 2008
