Introducing WQLN Passport, the new member benefit that provides you with extended access to an on-demand library of quality public television programming!

WQLN Passport is available to WQLN members that donate $60 or more per year. If you’re a current member you should have already received an activation email from PBS on behalf of WQLN. If you never received this email, click Don't Know Your Code? to make sure that we have the correct email on file or click Update Your Member Email to update our records. If you don’t receive an email in your inbox, check your spam and junk email folders or call membership at 814-217-6052. If you are a new or lapsed member, begin using WQLN Passport by making a yearly tax-deductible contribution of $60 or more (or an ongoing contribution of $5 or more per month, as a sustaining member). Donations from members provide vital support to WQLN here in our community!

Once you complete the activation process, you will be directed to log into PBS.org. Save this login and password information to continue to sign in and access Passport video at pbsvideo.wqln.org. To sign in on the Passport video page, click the icon in the top left corner and select "Sign In."

Featuring both PBS programs and select WQLN Original Productions, WQLN Passport allows you to watch even more of your favorite shows, including Downton Abbey on MASTERPIECE along with other popular series like Vicious, Earth a New Wild, How We Got to Now, The Great British Baking Show and many more. WQLN Passport FAQ

WQLN Passport is a new member benefit which provides WQLN donors extended on-demand access to a rich library of quality public television programming. This is just one of the benefits that WQLN provides its donors.

As more and more people are watching television content on-demand on digital devices, WQLN Passport gives WQLN donors a way to enjoy extended access to PBS and WQLN content on many platforms, on devices including computers, smartphones, and tablets.

At launch, WQLN Passport includes several hundred hours of programming, representing many genres, including drama, science, history, natural history, and the arts. Notable titles include MASTERPIECE series such as Downton Abbey and Wolf Hall, along with other favorites such as Vicious, Earth a New Wild, How We Got to Now, The Great British Baking Show, and many more.

The WQLN Passport library will continue to grow as more series and episodes are added.

Donors who wish to take advantage of WQLN Passport must activate their account for access. They will be asked via email to register to confirm their identity and membership status, and then they can start WQLN Passport.

WQLN Passport can be accessed on the WQLN website, as well as on PBS.org, the PBS Video apps for Android and iOS smartphones and tablets, and the PBS app on AppleTV when WQLN has been identified as the member’s local station. To get started, look for videos with the compass icon. Those videos are only available to users who are registered for WQLN Passport.

WQLN Passport is the newest member benefit available from WQLN for donors who make a yearly contribution of at least $60 or an ongoing monthly contribution of $5 or more. It cannot be purchased separately.

WQLN Passport is an added benefit of WQLN membership. It cannot be purchased separately and is not a subscription service.

No. PBS and WQLN content will continue to be available for free on PBS.org, WQLN.org, and other digital platforms. WQLN Passport provides extended access to a rich library of content for WQLN members to enjoy.

Certain content, including news and public affairs programs such as FRONTLINE, PBS NEWSHOUR, INDEPENDENT LENS, and POV, will always be accessible to everyone.

PBS is committed to providing free streaming of local and national content across multiple platforms after a program airs. WQLN Passport goes one step further by offering an extended access to a rich library of content for station donors.

Initially, several hundred hours of content will be available via WQLN Passport. This library of content will continue to grow over time as more titles are added.

There are no plans to include PBS KIDS programming in WQLN Passport at this time.

All PBS streaming video – including PBS Passport – is available only within the United States.

PBS Passport offers online video streaming, and is accessible from PBS.org and local station sites on your computer, smartphone and tablet. It is also available via the PBS Video apps for iOS, Android, Apple TV and other streaming devices. More platforms are coming soon.

Watching PBS through your local PBS station on your television remains the same and is not affected by PBS Passport.

Once you have received your activation code, please go to the following site and enter the code in the textbox provided: http://www.pbs.org/passport.
