Stories of Champions

WQLN supports PBS’s American Graduate initiative with Stories of Champions, a series of original shorts featuring local champions of children who are working to keep students on the path to graduation and college- or career-readiness. Local champions Jennifer Nygaard Pontzer (Career Street), Mat Pundt (Central Career & Technical School), Rick Scaletta (General McLane School District), and Sonya Smith (Penn State Behrend Youth Education Department) tell how they’ve influenced students on the path to graduation.

Every summer, musicians from the Erie Philharmonic present a free lunchtime concert during each of the summer months. These Get your Phil at Noon concerts starts at noon on the Erie Art Museum plaza in downtown Erie. WQLN Radio broadcasts the concerts live on Classics with Brian Hannah. So, join us downtown or tune in to 91.3FM for a live mid-day musical interlude!
