Get a JUMP! on School

WQLN Education is making BIG plans to ignite, inspire, and engage the academic potential of all students, from kindergarteners to seniors in high school, who are preparing for the 2016-17 school year. On Sunday, August 13, 2017, from 11am to 3pm, we will present the JUMP! Back to School Expo at the Penn State Behrend Junker Center. JUMP! will provide families a one-stop experience of the latest in products, services, and resources that will contribute to their child's academic success. Students will have a chance to JUMP! into technology, science, and math when they visit some of the cool exhibits. And this year, admission is FREE!

JUMP! is presented by WQLN Education and sponsored by -----------------------------.

All proceeds from JUMP! will benefit WQLN Education, which is committed to improving the lives of children in our community by intersecting media and learning, providing teachers and parents the tools to encourage learning in the classroom and home, and strengthening community partnerships that foster early childhood education.

YMCA of Greater Erie

At the YMCA of Greater Erie, we believe the values and skills learned early on are the building blocks for quality life and future success. In Y early learning and school-age enrichment programs, babies develop trust and security, preschoolers experience early literacy, and learn about their world, and school-age kids make friends, learn new skills and develop character. YMCA character values – caring, honesty, respect and responsibility help kids – even our youngest – discover who they are and what they can achieve. We offer programs for Early Childhood (ages 6 weeks – 3 years), Preschool and Pre-K (ages 3-5 years), and School Age (K – 12 years). Financial assistance is available making programs affordable for all families.
