Browns vs. Steelers

What better way to close out fall than by taking in an NFL football game? Ah, the Browns–Steelers rivalry—one of the most storied in the NFL. The Steelers and the Browns played for the first time on a Saturday night in October of 1950, a 30-17 win for the Browns in Pittsburgh. Since then, they have played each other over 100 times—more than any other AFC matchup.

The rivalry between Pittsburgh and Cleveland speaks of toughness and perseverance. It’s about one thing and a thousand things. It’s about us. Our hard work—‘we the people’—who built this nation out of hard scrapple determination found in every blue collar town in Western Pennsylvania and all along the southern shores of Lake Erie. America’s greatness is our greatness, and we express it every Sunday in the fall. We shout it from thousands of Browns Towns and all across Steeler Country. This game is more than a game. It’s our game. Orange and Brown, Black and Gold—Brownie and Steeler fans are the best of friends and the worst of enemies. Let’s Go (fill in the blank)!
