1,000 Islands Tour

Enjoy the history and mystery of the newest castle now open to the public—Singer Castle, on Dark Island, located 9 miles downriver at Chippewa Bay. Built at the turn of the 19th century by Commodore Bourne (president of the Singer Sewing Machine Company) as a ‘hunting lodge,’ the castle remains just as it was during its heyday—fully furnished with antiques, coats-of-arms, original paintings, and more. Enjoy a boxed lunch on the boat ride back to Alexandria Bay.

Next, board the boat for the Two Nation Tour. This international tour offers close-up enjoyment of historic and scenic wonders in both the American and Canadian sections of the 1,000 Islands. Your cruise will take you through narrow passages where it seems you can almost reach out and touch the islands and will expose you to some of the most breathtaking scenery in the country. At the end of the tour, we will stop at Boldt Castle for a self-guided tour. After touring Boldt Castle, we will board the boat and head back to Alexandria Bay.

We will enjoy a delicious dinner and then return to WQLN.
